Invasion

Invasion Schedule
(24-hour System)

Server Time
Everyday

08:00:00
16:00:00

Philippine Time
*subject to change to an hour late or advance due to daylight savings time(DST)*
Everyday
01:00:00
09:00:00
17:00:00

Oh Noes! Monsters have invaded!

The main point of this event is to kill as many monsters as you can. Each monster you kill has its corresponding point. These points can then converted into event coins namely Bronze (BC), Silver (SC), or Gold (GC) coins but can't be converted back to event points. The event coins can then can then be traded to goodies including consumables, castle drops, Thanatos card, and Lighthalzen cards.

To start off, on the aforementioned time, a broadcast will be displayed, warning that a set of monsters have invaded a town. One town is randomly chosen out of these six specific towns:
Alberta (go 4)
Aldebaran (go 6)
Comodo (go 8)
Geffen (go 2)
Einbroch (go 19)
Payon (go 3)

The invasion of monsters comes in 3 waves and a final boss wave. A specific set and number of monsters spawn randomly on the map on each wave with 1 boss monster on the final wave. Each monster in each wave has corresponding amount of points per kill: 2 points on the first wave, 4 on the 2nd wave, 6 on the 3rd wave, and 50 points on the final boss wave.

In order to gain the point, you must be the one to inflict the last hit on the monster. Dealing the greatest amount of damage does not grant you the points.

Here are the set of monsters and their elemental weakness.

Set 1
1st Wave - Christmas Cookie [Shadow]
2nd Wave - Egnigem Cenia [Water]
3rd Wave - Seyren Windsor [Water]
Final Wave - Incantation Samurai [Holy]

Set 2
1st Wave -  Orc Zombie [Holy]
2nd Wave - Skeleton Prisoner [Holy]
3rd Wave - Skeleton Prisoner [Holy]
Final Wave - Skeleton General [Holy]

Set 3
1st Wave - Cramp
2nd Wave - Desert Wolf [Water]
3rd Wave - Grand Peco [Water]
Final Wave - Majoruros [Water]

Set 4
1st Wave - Mini Demon [Holy]
2nd Wave - Evil Nymph [Holy]
3rd Wave - Cat o' Nine Tails [Water]
Final Wave - Doppelganger [Holy]

Set 5
1st Wave - False Angel [Shadow]
2nd Wave - Goblin Leader [Earth]
3rd Wave - Observation
Final Wave - Pharaoh [Holy]

Set 6
1st Wave - Deleter[Water]
2nd Wave - Dancing Dragon [Earth]
3rd Wave - Gold Acidus [Shadow]
Final Wave - Detale [Holy]

A broadcast will be shown of who has slain the boss, also signifying the end of the invasion.

Converting Points to Coins

Talk to the Helper located in different towns (prontera 150 160 or go 1, 2, 3, 6) usually located together with the other usual NPCs on the spawn point to view your event points and points you are able to convert to coins.

Ladder
Enables to see the top 10 of the most number of invasion event points.

Prizes
Enable to convert event points to bronze coins.
20 event points = 1 bronze coin

Exchange Rate
20 Event Points = 1 Bronze Coin
5 Bronze Coins = 1 Silver Coin
5 Silver Coins = 1 Gold Coin

Converting Coins

Talk to the Event Manager at prontera 150 145 and choose "I want to convert my Event Coins". Choose the conversion type you want. Input the amount of coins you want to get from converting from a certain kind of coin.

Note: Claiming the rewards does not require the specific kind of coin. It will accept it as long as it is of equivalent value.

Claiming Rewards

Talk to the Event Manager at prontera 150 145 and choose "I want to receive my rewards". Do not worry about conversion since as long as you have the equivalent value of coins in different form, he will accept it. Say, the item is worth 10 GC. As long as you have 50 SC or 250 BC, you can trade it. Then choose the reward you want to receive.

The maximum reward is worth 10 GC (lighthalzen cards).
5000 Points = 250 Bronze Coins = 50 Silver Coins = 10 Gold Coins

Ragnarok Skins

Want to change how your RO would look like?

1. Download the Ragnarok skin of your choice. You could search the net or try those at iRO wiki. They usually come in .rar or .zip format.

2. Extract the download skin folder to the "skin" folder of your RO folder. Be sure to have a program to extract. You could download over the net.

The files extracted must be in a folder and should look like this.

3. In the game, press ESC for the Select Option menu to appear.

4. Choose settings and you will find the Details Option window. Then click on the Skin option with the drop down menu. Choose the skin you want.

Pre-renewal skins may leave other options unchanged. Here's an example of a renewal skin.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the files. Download at your own risk.

Enriched Elunium

Ever wondered how Enriched Eluniums work? This topic will clear the mystery this mineral brings. Make or break. Success or fail. It still roots down to chance.

Before we proceed to how it actually works, let's learn first how to obtain the item. There are only 2 ways to get the item, either by donating(tickets) or by buying from other players in game.

To use enriched eluniums, talk to Suhnbi at payon 170 140. He's the counterpart of Hollengrhen.

     How do e.elus work?

Dark RO has modified the script of the original. Chances stay the same when using normal eluniums. Instead of raising the success chance in refining, it uses the same success rate with Hollengrhen simply gives the user a second chance on a single attempt. So if the first one fails, it automatically gives you a second shot in that same attempt.

    Normal elunium's success rate:

Success rate of e.elus in force are modified. IRO states this success rate:

Red colored numbers mean no improvement over normal Oridecon or Elunium. (from IROwiki)

Here's an official statement from Matias from this topic in the forum.

"Just because I got a few PMs and stuff to look into this topic, I am posting, although its pretty much the only post I'll make here, considering most people belive what they want to belive.

Chance are exactly the same and they havnt been modified. Bit over 2 months ago there was a tweak on the NPC due to a wrong commit, which slightly increased Enriched Elunium chances of refining, although this only lasted for a few hours and I think it was before people pointed out the overupgraded VMs. So I am pretty sure none noticed anything.

Remember Enriched Elunium doesnt give you higher success rate, it simply gives you a second shot on a single line in case first on fails (Avoid breaking). It uses the same success rate as Hollengrhen, so if Enriched Elunium chances were modified to be way lower, as some people are claiming, it'd have affected all other refiners.

Greetings.

And no, chance isn't 100% and has never been, it's two times 60% from +4 to +5."

-Matias

     Case cleared. :D

Tip: Better choose the easy quests: deliveries or items that can be bought from NPCs and spend the time farming to other things.

Exchanging Token Points to Items

When you have enough token points, talk to guild leader and ask him to take you to the official shop or simply warp to prt_in 165 170. Ask the Treasure Hunter's Shop NPC what he has in stock. Castle drops are usually the only ones with much use. All castle drops will cost you 200T except for the ESG which will cost you 400T.
